Wow, what a day - Internet marketing

Well, today has been one day! The wind is blowing Las Vegas away today..which means huge headache for me.
I have been able to push past it and make some real great pushes toward my classifieds action plan. I am excited to keep this up and see the results...I will keep you posted.
In addition, today is the day I will be starting my own website...my really very own website. YIKES! I am excited about that also..
only 30 days till the event in Las Vegas, I am ready to make this business feel more real.

Good News

There has been some good news in my life, my friend who has been fighting breast cancer just had her surgery...she is now over half way done with the treatment plan. It all went really well and I was so happy to be able to be a part of the time period for her recovery without having to worry about getting time off from work. I just worked around the time she needed me. It is so nice to have this type of financial freedom. It would be really hard to go back to a JOB (Just Over Broke) again.

Birthday Time

Well, it was my birthday this week and probably part of the reasoning for the last posting. Poor me, I am getting older. I had to tell myself to get over it and grow up, not that the child inside of me will ever get older. So I am getting leads with the program that I am in (not really a program, but don't know what else to call it). I am getting tired of my friends saying that I am unemployed when I am working my own business, just because I am not going to a brick and mortar building or getting my butt chewed out by a BOSS...yuck!!! I am at the point where I know I am about to make that sale, yet have not made it and do not want to quit. Internet Marketers know what I am talking about, heck even other entrepreneurs know what I am talking about...it is hard to make it in this business, but if it was easy everyone would do it...

Entreprenuers wanted

I am sitting at my desk wondering what the heck I am doing. Here I am with all the training and guidance to "make it" and there are others that started when I did on this same path that are making it...so why haven't I? I know I can't think in this manner, but the money from my inheritance is running out quickly. If I need to go back to the workforce this will just take longer. Is this what I really want? I know I really want the freedom, so why am I holding myself back?

Where am I going?

In the decision of where I would move from North Carolina it was important for me to continue toward my ultimate goal of being available for friends/family. Thus the decision to move to Las Vegas, NV seemed to be a natural selection as my family is just outside of the city and I have a friend who is fighting breast cancer. I felt like I would be a great value to her while she is going through chemo, surgery, and radiation. We moved in together and now I see that she has been a bigger help to me than I could ever be to her. I celebrate strong women and anyone going through medical issues that are fighting them. She is amazing, through positive thought she continues to work (in a jail!) and continues to fight this cancer (her second cancer fight in her short 32 years).
I now believe and understand the power of positive thought!

So far in this blog you have been getting caught up in my life since starting on this journey...now we will be in the present!

Time to move

So it is time for a real change and I have a friend in need (my ultimate goal to have financial freedom was to be able to be available to help friends and family in need). Here she was pregnant and recently divorced moving to North Carolina for her dream job. It was a chance to me to be able to live my dream...so I did it! I moved to North Carolina with her to help care for the soon-to-be baby. It was an interesting time, I was still trying to work on Herbalife and create a life through the products. I got by with them, but it was nothing like the previous salary that I had left. Of course, for the first time in my life I was not working a regular job. This includes college, when everyone else was busy having fun... I was at work. So this was my turn! I was traveling and getting to see all of my friends across the country since I knew I would be staying at home more when the baby came. Then the baby came...so did the baby blues for my friend. She knew that this was going to be too much for just the two of us and no one else to rely on. So it was moving time again only a short 6 months after moving across country..it was time to move back across country.

Breaking Point

Here I was sick and tired, then I started to hear about what was going on with my friends and family. I was shocked to hear about everything they have been going through without me to be a support system for them. This is when I decided to work on my own wealth, make my own hours and have the ability to live! I was tired of working constantly and finally moved on from my corporate life. I was introduced to an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) company - Herbalife. I am forever grateful to this company and the products that it creates. With 60 scientist they have the best herbal supplements that I had encountered. I was happy to finally have relief of the symptoms that I was plagued with for over a year. The migraines, depression, and extreme exhaustion were managed with the formula 1 shakes! I was so impressed and started working with the company to become a distributor and supervisor. Although I attempted to earn what I was making as an HR Director with Herbalife and was not able to succeed, I continue to use the products and will continue since it is the products that have helped me manage my symptoms and allow me to live my life. I would recommend the products to anyone...

I made it

I made it to an HR Director and worked for a couple of years! Then I had to wonder, what is next...and then...everything in my life seemed to fall apart.
I started experiencing extreme headaches, pain in my side, inability to breathe, blah blah blah. I was suffering at work (in more than one way). I was dating a person who broke off the relationship and got married to someone else. I felt that my family needed me to be strong and I had no way of helping. I felt like a complete failure! I had to leave my career and take care of myself. I still look back at this time and wonder what happened. I never got a diagnosis on my condition and after leaving my job I could not get health insurance outside of COBRA which was beyond my financial means.
Then the breaking point came...

Living the dream

I had placed an conscienceless need toward becoming an HR director. So strong in fact that I do not remember having to plan out my goal. I just knew it, it was so strong within me. I guess that is what "the force" really is. I worked my way up in the trenches of the corporate world, to find that the more responsibility I had the harder I worked. I found this exciting and invigorating it was a great time; learning so much about the jobs and about the company. I turned into a workaholic, this is even before I had become an HR Director.

In the beginning

I think it is important to know where I started in this journey. Since it started the day I realized how important money is to life and freedom.
In college, I was approached with an opportunity to work for myself. I was to send out postcards to get people interested in placing ads in the internet yellow pages. Although, it sounded like a great idea and I knew there would be a mass interest in the internet. My mindset was not in the same place that my heart was...so I declined the opportunity. Funny how strong the mindset is...
(And yes, I am that old)
I continued on my journey to climb up the corporate ladder and become an HR Director...
